One of the reasons I created this website was accountability. Publicly stating what I’m doing well, not so well and the challenges I face in my running and fitness journey will keep me right! In this post I’m going to list my personal, health & fitness and running goals for 2025. I’ll revisit these goals throughout the year, and will reflect at the end of the year to see how I got on!
Running Goals
- Complete the Great Ocean Road Marathon in under 4 hours
- Complete the marathon distance at the Mount Macedon Trail Run
- Win at least one race at my local running club
- Run at least 1200km
- Run the entire length of the O’Keefe Rail Trail (carried over from 2024!)
Health & Fitness Goals
- Reduce body fat to 20%
- Increase VO2 Max to 47 (on Apple Watch)
Personal Goals
- Give up soft drink for good! (carried over for as many years as I care to remember)
